Simply focussing the camera does not add to the shutter count.
The only time your shutter count increases is when you actually take a photo, not when you half press the shutter.
There are a number of free programs available on the net, and they've been mentioned heaps of times on this forum - just do a forum search an you should find be able to find most of them.
Just remember though that the the only way to get a 100% guaranteed accurate reading is to send it to Canon.
To be honest, don't get hung up on your shutter count.
99% of people will upgrade their camera before it even gets close to the rated mtbf number.
Also, a shutter could let go at any time - at 2000, at 20,000 or it might last beyond 200,000.
It's a mechanical part and can fail at any time.
